Mayor’s Global Business Award & Small Business of the Year

In 2008, TLC received the Mayor’s Global Business Award and the Small Business of the Year award from the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce. And in 2011, TLC received the Small Business of the Year Award again.

These awards recognize entrepreneurs and businesses exhibiting entrepreneurship best practices, like innovation in work processes, operations management, strategic business planning, and fiscal responsibility.

NAWBO Established Business of the Year

The NAWBO awards, presented by the National Association of Women Business Owners, focus on honoring “the accomplishments and contributions of exemplary women who have led the way in the women’s business community and is building a legacy for the next generation of entrepreneurs.”

Hana earned this award in 2008 for her excellence in building TLC into a successful language services provider.

The award is also weighed on the basis of overall business excellence in the areas of strategy, problem solving, operations, and finance.

Business Ethics Award

TLC was awarded the Greater Tarrant Business Ethics Award by the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce in 2013 for the small business category.

This award honors companies that “demonstrate a firm commitment to ethical business practices in their everyday operations, management philosophies and in response to crises or challenges.”
