3 Ways TLC Practices Our Core Value: Gratitude

As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, the feeling of gratitude fills the air. At Teneo Linguistics Company, gratitude is at the center of everything that we do. In fact, it is one of our core values and a part of our vision statement:

We live and breathe our core values of gratitude, excellence, partnership, and integrity – while continually fulfilling the promise of our mission statement. Here are 3 ways we practice gratitude every day:

1. Serving Our Clients

With every client and each project, we practice gratitude by holding ourselves to the highest standards and quality. TLC is an ISO Certified company, which means we are continually improving our processes for the betterment of our business, and our customers.

We are grateful for strong and consistent relationships with our clients and believe that when we execute flawlessly, growth happens on both sides of the equation. Our customized approach to translation projects allows for flexibility depending on the client’s needs and allows a solid partnership to grow.

Every new client adds something unique to our TLC family, and we are grateful for every one of them.

2. Serving Our Employees

As our company grows, so do our hiring needs. We only hire office staff & language professionals who possess remarkable skills and who prioritize client needs above all others. In return, TLC cultivates a supportive and productive environment where teamwork is not only a practice, but a state of mind.

The common goal of serving our clients brings us together to problem solve, implement solutions, analyze results, and continuously improve. TLC is grateful for the employees and language professionals who are the backbone of our company.

3. Serving Our Community

As a member of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, TLC proudly represents one of the thousands of businesses that make our city extraordinary. We have received several awards celebrating our business practices including:

• Mayor’s Global Business Award in 2008 for “services that link diverse cultures through global communications”.
• Small Business of the Year in 2011 and 2014, awarded by the Chamber of Commerce.
• And the Greater Tarrant Ethics Award in 2013.

We are grateful for the community we call home and give back in many ways, including partnering with the Tarrant Area Food Bank nonprofit organization. The picture above shows our team volunteering their time at a local food bank that provides sack lunches & groceries to those most in need in our community. Many employees also donate a part of their paycheck to Tarrant Area Food Bank, which TLC matches.

Gratitude is a way of life around here at Teneo Linguistics Company and we strive to practice it every day in all aspects of our work and lives.
